LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — British art-pop quartet The 1975 announced plans for a return to North America in 2017 for an extensive tour.
The 1975 will kick off their headline tour on April 9 in Mexico City and hit major cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Detroit and Boston, including a headlining date at New York City's Madison Square Garden on June 1st.
News of their North American segment comes days after the band pulled out of the remaining dates of their European tour, citing "unforeseen circumstances" and leaving almost 30 shows on the table.
The 1975 is touring in support of their second studio album, the cumbrously named "I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It."
