The Big Easy Touts Jazz Fest


NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented has announced the music lineup for the 2011 Festival scheduled for April 29 – May 1 and May 5 – 8.


With twelve stages of various styles of roots music, Jazz Fest will present a diverse music lineup, including a showcase of Louisiana’s culture.  Hundreds of thousands of fans annually flock  to the seven-day event.

The 2011 Festival will also host the largest celebration of Haitian culture in the U.S. since the devastating earthquake one year ago.

The Jazz Fest will host icons of Haitian music and culture including Wyclef Jean, Tabou Combo, RAM, Boukman Eksperyans, Emeline Michel, Djakout #1, DJA-Rara and Ti-Coca & Wanga Négès.
