The Bomb Factory To Open In Dallas

DALLAS, TX (CelebrityAccess) — The Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas will soon be host to a new live music venue, The Bomb Factory.

Set to open on March 26th with a show by Dallas native Erykah Badu, the 48,000-square-foot, 4,300-capacity venue on Canton Street previously served as a nightclub in the mid 1990s, hosting concerts by artists including Dave Matthews Band, Sonic Youth, The Ramones, INXS, Nine Inch Nails, and Fugazi, but has been vacant for the better part of a decade.

Following what was described as nearly a complete rebuild, the Bomb Factory features state-of-the-art sound and lights; and its hospitality facilities for artists include four dressing rooms, an on-site laundry, crew shower rooms, workout facility and a private bar/catering area.

The venue's ressurrection was overseen by Clint Barlow, Vanilla Ice's drummer, who also revived the nearby music venue Trees Dallas.

Upcoming dates at the Bomb Factory include The Atomic Music Festival with headliners Between The Buried And Me and Animals As Leaders on Saturday, April 11th, Ministry on May 3rd and Jesus & Mary Chain on May 7th. – Staff Writers
