MERRITT, B.C. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – According to The Canadian Press, The Country Music Hall of Fame is moving from Calgary to Merritt, B.C.
Ron Sanders, president of the Merritt Walk of Stars Society, says the memorabilia is being moved to the town about 111 miles northeast of Vancouver.
Merritt is the home of Mountainfest, one of the Canada’s largest country music festivals.
The new Country Music Hall of Fame will be located in the legacy square now under construction in downtown Merritt, according to The Canadian Press
