SANTA MONICA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — John Popper, frontman of Blues Traveler, is preparing for the March 1st release of his new project, John Popper And The Duskray Troubadours.
The result of a month-long recording session in the mountains of New Mexico, John Popper's Duskray project is less a solo endeavor and more a band effort.
The band features guitarist/producer Jono Manson, bassist Steve Lindsay, drummer Mark Clark and guitarists Kevin Trainor and Aaron Beavers.
The band will embark on a U.S. tour that kicks off in Seattle next week and will perform on the George Lopez Show on the album release date, March 1st. The following day, they will perform an acoustic set at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles.
