Phoenix's premier blues and roots club, The Rhythm Room, is marking its 10th anniversary with a live album featuring many artists. To be released Oct. 16 on HighTone Records, Rhythm Room Blues has 13 tracks featuring R.L. Burnside, Kim Wilson, Henry Gray, Nappy Brown, Sonny Rhodes, Sam Lay and Mojo Buford.
Each artist was backed by a stellar cast of supporting players including guitarists Bob Margolin, Rusty Zinn, Billy Flynn and Johnny Rapp; bassists Larry Taylor and Henry Oden; drummers Chico Chism and Richard Innes; and harmonica player Bob Corritore, who also produced the album.
