LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — In the face of poor ticket sales, upcoming tour for the Voice UK Live has been cancelled.
The 11-date tour with a lineup of eight finalists from the singing competition reality show The Voice, was set to begin at Bournemouth International Centre on September 12, and was then due to visit venues in Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Glasgow and Sheffield.
"Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales – customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds," a spokesperson for the show told the BBC.
The show has also been hit with criticism that the show has failed to attract a significant number of viewers and the debut single from the show's first winner, 28-year-old Leanne Mitchell, failed to break into the top 40 upon release. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
