The Who Postpone Final Two Shows

LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Legendary rock band The Who have been forced to postpone the final two dates of their current, sold-out tour of the UK after Roger Daltrey was diagnosed with a throat infection.

The pair of dates at London's O2 Arena have been moved to March. The December 17th show will take place on March 22nd, 2015 and the Dec. 18th show has been pushed back to March 23rd, 2015.

In a post on their Facebook page, a spokesperson for the band said: "On medical advice singer Roger Daltrey has been ordered to rest his voice due to a throat infection. The band and their management wish to sincerely apologise to all ticket holders for the inconvenience and disappointment this has caused."

The 'Who Hits 50' tour kicked off in November and is believed to be the final tour for the band. In addition to the makeup dates, the group is expected to make their final bow with a headlining slot as a part of the Barclaycard British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park in June. – Staff Writers
