Tickets.com has signed a long-term partnership with the City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Convention Center Complex. The new agreement will provide the city with the latest in digital ticketing technology with Access Control, including Tickets.com's exclusive MyTickets suite of digital ticketing products.
"Given the large number of events that we produce, the need to partner with a reputable and stable ticketing partner is paramount to the success of our operation," said Judy Goldbar, general manager. "Tickets.com has a proven track record with major Sacramento events, including this year's record breaking Lion King on-sale, and in the end, that level of commitment and customer service prevailed."
Using Tickets.com's MyTickets digital ticketing management tool, patrons will now have the opportunity to manage both individual and season tickets with their own on-line account. Available features will include on-line season/subscription sales and renewals, Ticket Forwarding, and Replay Ticket Exchange, which will enable Sacramento Convention Center Complex members to transfer unused tickets on-line to others who can use them. Furthermore, with the application of Tickets@Home, patrons will have the choice to print their tickets using their own personal home or office computer.
"We're delighted the City of Sacramento has recognized the strengths of our innovative technology," said Cole Gahagan, vice president of Sales for Tickets.com. "Using our suite of digital products, The Sacramento Convention Center Complex will create an exciting and convenient experience for their patrons, while providing more visibility for upcoming shows, and exposing them to new live events. In the end, it's this exceptional level of service that will drive customers to return to this fantastic facility again and again."
In addition to the digital suite of ticketing services, Tickets.com will provide targeted and tailored marketing campaigns through its proprietary Market Flash program. This service will help the Sacramento Convention Center Complex drive more ticket sales by notifying patrons of relevant upcoming events and programs. –Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
