LONDON (VIP NEWS) — Self-service ticketing system provider Ticketscript has appointed a new CTO in the form of André Buren, who will take over from the company’s co-founder Ruben Van Den Heuvel, who is shifting over to the job of Head Of Product Innovation.
As CTO of Ticketscript, Buren is responsible for further innovation and international expansion of the integrated self-service ticketing platform. He leads international teams of over 40 professionals within product and IT development.
Buren has held various managerial positions in the past 20 years for leading e-commerce companies. Prior to ticketscript, Buren worked as CTO for Emesa Holding, where he was responsible for the innovation and technical creation of popular Dutch leisure activities website Vakantieveilingen.nl. Buren’s tenure at Emesa saw rapid growth of the business, going from start-up to a company valued at over £80 million.

Earlier this year, the London-based equity firm, FF&P, invested £7 million in ticketscript to support the company’s ambitious international growth strategy. Buren’s appointment coincides with the recent appointment of Nick Wells as Country Director UK, and the company’s ranking in the Deloitte UK 2014 Technology Fast 50 as one of the fast-growing tech companies in the UK.
