(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – On the heels of its expansion into China, Ticketmaster has expanded into Turkey with the acquisition of Biletix located in Istanbul from founding partners the Koc Group and TAG Enterprises Limited. Biletix becomes the operating arm of Ticketmaster Turkey and will continue to provide its ticketing services to its more than 400 venue, promoter and sports team clients throughout the country.
Biletix founders Dave Dorner and Ali Abhary will remain with the company as general managers and will continue to be responsible for servicing clients in the Turkish market on behalf of Ticketmaster and Biletix.
