NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Due to overwhelming response to the artists’ announcement of a June 19th performance at Radio City Music Hall, Live Nation has added a second concert with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga for the following night, June 20th.
The performances will be accompanied by a full orchestra along with each artist's jazz ensembles who will also serve as special guests for the evening. The concerts will feature jazz standards sung by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett in a combination of vocal duets and solo performances.
The concerts are supporting 'Cheek to Cheek' a new album of duets of jazz standards by popular composers like George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and Irving Berlin and performed by Bennett and Lady G. The album bowed at #1 on the Billboard 200, moving 131,000 units in the first week.
