MANCHESTER (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — In The City, the Manchester-based music conference launched by Yvette Livesey and the late Tony Wilson, has announced that it will be going ahead as scheduled, honoring the loss the one of its directors.

This year’s conference will focus on the theme of “It’s A Brand New Dance, But We Don’t Know It’s Name,” the opening line from David Bowie’s “Fashion.”
In conversations with Livesey before his death, the pair had decided to carry on the conference as planned no matter what happened, so the event will not be “a mournful, solumn, introspective ode to Tony,” according to a press release.
