Tour Manager Janet 'Jane Train' Rains Dies Of Injuries Sustained In Crash

GAINESVILLE, FL (CelebrityAccess) — Janet Rains, a tour manager and singer better known as Jane Train, died Wednesday at University of Florida Health Shands Burn Center of injuries sustained five weeks ago when Adrenaline Mob's tour RV was struck by a tractor-trailer near Micanopy, Florida.

Train's mother, Lucille Joyner, of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, announced Train's death via Facebook, the Citizens' Voice.

Rains was seriously burned in the accident, which occurred when a tractor trailer struck the band's tour RV while it was on the side of the road for a tire change. Adrenaline Mob's bassist David "Z" Zablidowsky was killed while sound manager Robert Dressler and RV driver Jason McCole were injured in the crash.

According to the Citizens' Voice, attorneys for Rains family, Dressler and McCole are considering legal action against Twiss Transport, the trucking company of the other vehicle involved in the crash.

The Citizen's Voice reported that Twiss has received 87 violations during the past 24 months, according to data from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Of that total, 26 violations were for unsafe driving, 31 for hours-of-service compliance, 28 for vehicle maintenance and two for controlled substances and alcohol.

“Typically, what we can tell you is that when tractor-trailer drivers and tractor-trailer companies are following the rules, tractor-trailers don’t just leave the roadway and strike vehicles that are well off the roadway and not moving,” Edward Ciarimboli, one of the attorneys for the Adrenaline Mob group told the newspaper.
