Get ready for another touring lifestyle festival. After five years of trying to get it off the
ground, Tour Together, a one-stop event production company has finally succeeded with the 1st Annual Jeep World
Outside Festival. Tour Together is partnering with Outside Magazine and Clear
Channel Entertainment to produce the 23-city Jeep-sponsored
tour that combines interactive adventure sports and music. Kicking off July 10 in
Charlotte NC, the tour includes stops in all major U.S. markets.
The tour will feature two music stages. Artists already confirmed are Sheryl Crow,
Train and O.A.R.
"We are thrilled to have Sheryl Crow and Train playing our inaugural The Jeep
World Outside Festival," said Matt McKee director of marketing for Outside
Magazine and the festival. "But I must warn you, this is anything but a typical
concert.
Come prepared to bike, swim, climb, ski, snowboard, and listen to some fantastic
music. It doesn't matter if you live in Brooklyn or Boulder, this is a chance for
everyone to experience the thrill of adventure sports."
In addition to music, there will be The Jeep World Outside Festival Adventure
Village, which will feature sports, gear, apparel and adventure travel. Festival
attendees will have the chance to learn from, and participate alongside, world-class
athletes in such activities as mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding and
mountain climbing. The festival will feature a 30-foot high ski jump; ice and rock
climbing walls; a 30,000 gallon water tank equipped with a state-of-the-art
Confluence” wave machine; a mountain biking course; and a
duel belt ski training system.
