BROOKLYN, NY (CelebrityAccess) — Digital music distribution and publishing administration services company TuneCore announced that they have launched in Italy.
The company's new Italian footprint makes for the 4th European market for the company and their sixth international expansion, with other offices in UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, Germany, and France.
At the same time, TuneCore offered some insight into their growth for 2016, reporting a 340 percent year-over-year increase in streaming in Canada, as well as year-over-year increases in Australia (92 percent), Germany (71 percent) and the UK (67 percent). Streaming also continues to grow in the U.S., with a 65 percent year-over-year increase.
Launched in 2005, the company offers musicians and other rights-holders the opportunity to distribute and sell or stream their music through online retailers such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Google Play, Tidal, and others, and provides publishing admin services. – Staff Writers
