Turning Stone Re-Ups With Ticketmaster

VERONA, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Turning Stone Resort and Casino has extended their 16 year relationship with Ticketmaster with a new multi-year contract.

Ticketmaster will continue to handle ticketing at both of Turning Stone's venues, the 5,000-seat Event Center and the 800-seat Showroom, offering a combined average of 150 shows per year.

Upcoming shows at the Turning Stone include concerts by Rob Thomas, Kenny Rogers, Gregg Allman, Lynyrd Skynyrd, comedian Charlie Murphy, among many others. The venue opened in 1993 and quickly established itself as a top tourist destination in the area, consistently expanding to include amenities such as golf courses, restaurants, table games, gaming machines, and an RV park.

Turning Stone was named "Casino of the Year" in 2009 by the Academy of Country Music.

"We are proud to renew our relationship with the Turning Stone Resort and Casino, which has long proven itself as one of the major entertainment attractions of its area," said Tom McGlone, general manager, Ticketmaster Upstate New York and Philadelphia. "The venue's amazing staff and scenic location continue to make it a top draw, and Ticketmaster is excited to move forward with them through 2010 and beyond." — by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
