GLASGOW (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Two Glasgow nightclubs have been listed as 'for sale' by their owner, Donald MacLeod, the managing director of CPL Entertainment Group which owns and operates the clubs the Evening Times reported.
The two clubs, The Tunnel, and Cube employ a total of 115 staff members and cater to the house culture crowd. The sale price for the Tunnel, a capacity 1100 freehold is £2.25M while Cube, a 590 capacity leasehold, is going for a more modest price of £395,000.
MacLeod is selling the clubs because he wishes to focus on rock and other live music formats. "My music preference is rock, which has had a bearing on the decision, but selling The Tunnel and Cube seems a sensible thing to do at this time.
