PLANT CITY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Two headliners for the 2008 installment of the Florida Strawberry Festival have dropped out of the event, citing illness.
Travis Tritt has scrapped his scheduled 7:30 March 3rd performance, and will be replace at the last minute by Marty Stewart and Connie Smith. Tickets for Travis will be honored and refunds can be requested.
Glenn Campbell's March 4th show has been cancelled as well but Ronnie Milsap is there to save the day and take up the slack.
"We're doing the best we can do to get the word out," Festival General Manager Patsy Brooks told the Tampa Tribune, adding that this was the first time in her memory that two headliners had canceled.
