University of New Mexico Strikes New Naming Rights Deal

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (CelebrityAccess) — The University of New Mexico announced a major new naming rights deal for their sports facilities after Albuquerque-based construction company Dreamstyle Remodeling pledged $10 million over a ten-year term.

“It’s a dream come true… I’m certainly a Lobo in the heart and soul,” said Dreamstyle Remodeling head Larry Chavez during a press conference announcing the agreements.

According to the Los Alamos Daily Post, the deal covers the school's football and basketball facilities, which will be called Dreamstyle Stadium and Dreamstyle Arena, The Pit.

As a part of the deal, Dreamstyle will also donate $1 million that will be split among the UNM Children’s Hospital, Popejoy Hall, and UNM’s Anderson School of Business, the Daily News reported.

The news comes after the Pit's previous naming rights partner restaurant chain WisePies Pizza & Salad earlier this month agreed to step aside to make way for a more lucrative agreement for the school. – Staff Writers
