GLENDALE, AZ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Global Spectrum, operators of the new University of Phoenix Stadium, named Patrick Talty assistant general manager, Melissa Jurcan sales manager and David Cox marketing coordinator. Talty moves into his new position having served as the facility’s executive director of Operations while Jurcan and Cox were promoted from marketing manager and marketing assistant, respectively.
Talty will be responsible for the booking, sales and contractual process for events and activities at the stadium, as well as maintaining oversight of the operations department, which he headed for more than two years during the construction and opening period of the facility.
Jurcan will work closely with the sales and marketing departments in developing and implementing the stadium’s overall sales and facility rental programs, including expanding the corporate and special events sales efforts, an area she is familiar with, having executed these combined activities during her tenure as the sales and marketing manager at Seattle’s NFL stadium, Qwest Field.
Cox will assist in the implementation of the overall marketing and public relations programs at the stadium. Specifically, he will be responsible for the stadium’s website, advertising, and event promotion.
“Patrick, Melissa and David bring a wide range of facility management experience to their new positions and all played important roles in the opening of this great facility,” said Global Spectrum’s Peter C. Sullivan, general manager, University of Phoenix Stadium. “They are all looking forward to their new roles and responsibilities and I am confident they will excel in their new positions and within the Global Spectrum environment,” he added. – Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
