NEW YORK (Hypebot) – Bruce Houghton wrote yesterday about the unfortunate demise of high end online music marketer Echo and a hope that the powerful tools that they and others are creating will triumph over more expensive top down solutions. Now comes word that a while their offices will close and most Echo employees are leaving by mid-June, a few will be relocated within the larger Ticketmaster organization's LA and Nashville offices.
"From a creative and operational stand point, housing the Web sites, fan clubs, mobile applications, social networks, TV, radio, and video in one facility will enable all existing and future clients the full complement of on-site digital services," said Hannah Kampf, spokesperson for Ticketmaster.
