(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — CCE Spinco, the live entertainment division of Clear Channel Communications set to be spun-off on December 21st, will be launched under the banner Live Nation.
An anonymous source told Billboard.biz that Live Nation refers to the “community of fans, artists, and employees who share the same passions for the live concert experience.”
Live Nation will be the largest concert promotion company in the world, under the direction of president/CEO Michael Rapino.
According to Variety, Alan Ridgeway, former head of the European music division, will be chief financial officer. Arthur Fogel will head up the company's global touring division, with Charlie Walker as North American music president and Carl Pernow as the International music president.
