UPDATE: Chesbrough Steps Down At SPAC

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Herb Chesbrough, the former president of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, will end his contract on May 1 and accept a much smaller severance package than originally planned, according to The Saratogian.

Chesbrough has been the target of public outcry in recent months for his refusal to leave his position with the SPAC early, and his planned $400,000 severance package. He will reportedly only receive $45,000 in salary and benefits, with a pension of $100,000 a year for life.

The SPAC board hired Marcia White to replace him on March 4th, but Chesbrough stayed on the payroll as a consultant. He worked with the SPAC for 34 years. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
