UPDATE: Marsha Vlasic Named President At AGI

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Veteran music agent Marsha Vlasic has been named President of the agency Artist Group International.

Most recently Vlasic served as the Senior Vice President of Concerts at ICM, but announced earlier this week that she was leaving the firm after a 6-year stint. She joined ICM in 2008 after the agency acquired her boutique agency MVO (My Very Own) which she launched in 1993 after tenures at ATI, ICM and William Morris. At MVO, she pioneered music festival packaging in launching the Ozzfest and H.O.R.D.E tours. Ms. Vlasic's innovative booking strategy has garnered her widespread respect in the music industry.

Vlasic is also recognized as a pioneer for women in the music industry and has been honored annually by Billboard's Women in Music.

Vlassic reps a diverse roster of contemporary and iconic artists, including Neil Young, Elvis Costello, The Strokes, Muse, Moby, Band of Horses, Cage The Elephant, Silversun Pickups, Regina Spektor, Iggy and The Stooges, Ben Folds, Devendra Barnhart, Julian Casablancas, and Pegi Young.

“I am very proud to be associated with Marsha. Marsha’s roster of talent combined with AGIs’, further broadens an assemblage of talented artists that we take great pride in serving as representation for,” AGI CEO Dennis Arfa said in a press statement announcing Vlasic's new post.

Marsha Vlasic added, "I am thrilled to be joining Dennis and the team at AGI during this exciting chapter for the company. I have always had the highest regard of the great work they do on behalf of their artists." – Staff Writers
