Update: The Plaza Live To Re-Open On Thursday

ORLANDO (CelebrityAccess) — After a four-day hiatus following the deadly attack that killed singer Christina Grimmie, Orlando concert venue The Plaza Live is once again open for business.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the venue released a statement saying that shows at the venue would resume on Thursday with a performance by 1970s tribute act Yacht Rock Revue.

"We continue to work with Orlando Police in this ongoing investigation and whom we have invited to evaluate our security practices and protocols," the venue said. "We extend our heartfelt thanks for the community's outpouring of support and we continue to keep Central Florida, friends and families in our thoughts and prayers."

Artists on the schedule to perform at the venue include Zakk Wylde, Henry Rollins, Keb' Mo' and Kenny G.

Grimmie was shot and killed at the venue during a fan meet-and-greet following her performance there on June 10th, though her death was quickly overshadowed by the tragedy at Pulse Nightclub, also in Orlando. – Staff Writers
