Upgrades For The DTE Energy Music Theater

CLARKSTON, Mich. (CelebrityAccess) — The DTE Energy Music Theater will be seeing some upgrades ahead of the summer concert season.

According to local NBC affiliate WDIV, the DTE will see several new high-definition video screens in the venue. Both stage right and stage left will include 10 foot by 19 foot LED screens to enhance the viewing experience for concert-goers on the venue's lawn.

To go with the new screens, the venue is also adding four new robotic cameras as well as two new hand-held cameras, WDIV said.

“We want to give concert-goers the ultimate experience in video and sound,” Kevin Grigg, Vice President of Public Relations for Palace Sports and Entertainment told WDIV.

The venue is also unveiling new dining options, including a new 18-foot “Palace Roadhouse Barbecue” food truck. The truck will provide a variety of barbecue-related foodstuffs in the venue's paring lot both before and after shows. – Staff Writers
