(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The V Festival has sold out in record time for the event, with 130,000 tickets going in under 3 hours.
Tickets for the August 19-20 festival at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire, sold rapidly, starting at 9AM on Saturday, March 3.
The summer event will be headlined by Radiohead and Morrissey, with Razorlight set to headline the second stage.
Festival Director Bob Angus released a statement that read: “As delighted as we are that the festival has sold out, we are not shocked that it has happened so quickly, it really is a testament to the line up we’ve managed to secure this year. V has grown massively in the last few year’s and we’re very very proud of it.”
