AMES, IA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Venue management company VenuWorks have announced that they are launching a new events and entertainment division.
The new division is intended to bring more events to theatres, arenas and multi-purpose event centers managed by VenuWorks and will be helmed by Andy Long, who has been named vice president for events.
Long will be putting his team for the new division together over the next ninety days and the enterprise will be fully operational in early 2013. One key member of Long's team already in place is long-time director of programming at VenuWorks, Phil Potter. In addition to Potter, Long is expected to add additional positions in marketing and promoting.
In addition to the new division, a number of company personnel have been promoted, including Tammy Koolbeck, who's been lifted to Senior Vice President; and John Siehl, who was upped to Regional Vice President.
