SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Eric Hanson has signed on with the Rosebud Agency to handle booking for Northeast and Southeast United States.
A 23-year veteran of the industry, Hanson has helmed two boutique agencies of his own as well as repping artists such as Nina Simone, Evan Dando, The Yellowjackets and the World Saxaphone Quartet. Hanson also spent a tenure at Ted Kurland Associates in Boston.
In addition to his work as an agent, Hanson is a previous Rosebud alum, working as a management associate at the company in 1996. More recently, Hanson served as the Artistic Director at the left coast jazz club Yoshi's San Francisco.
While at Rosebud, Hanson will be booking the company's roster, including Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Charlie Watts, JJ Cale, Allen Toussaint, Bettye Lavette, Meshell Ndegeocello, Mavis Staples, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and The Weepies among others.
