DONEGAl, UK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A U.K. concert promoter has drawn fire for listing Vince Gill as one of the acts on the bill for a planned country music festival.
Promoter James McGarrity of JW Promos had listed Gill as performing at Country Fest 2010, which runs from July 31 – August 1, which was apparently news to Vince, who sent cease and desist letters to McGarrity demanding he immediately remove Gill's name and likeness from any and all advertising as Gill is not confirmed to perform at this festival.
The festival however, is still a go. Set to take place in Donegal, the event will feature three stages of music with a lineup that includes Gene Watson, Pam Tillis, Daryle Singletary, Kimmie Rhodes, Brent Mason, Jimmy Buckley, Philomena Begley, Declan Nerney, Robert Mizzell (but not Vince Gill, it seems.) – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
