LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil faced misdemeanor battery charges in Las Vegas las week after he allegedly got into an altercation with a fan.
According to TMZ, the alleged altercation took place at the Aria Hotel when Neil allegedly grabbed an autograph-seeking fan's hair and yanked her to the ground. Actor Nicolas Cage intervened and the two engaged in a scuffle while Cage tried to calm Neil down.
Neil contends that he never grabbed the woman and that while irritated, he instead tried to "push past" the woman.
Police issued a citation for misdemeanor battery after reviewing surveillance camera footage of the incident, TMZ said. – Staff Writers
