Voodoo Music Experience To Rock New Orleans On November 2

The Voodoo Music Experience will be held November 2 in New Orleans at the New Orleans City Park and will have more than 20 artists and 12 hours of music on three stages. The acts are No Doubt, The Crystal Method, 311, Sum 41, Garbage, Counting Crows, (hed)pe, Macy Gray, Nappy Roots, The X-ecutioners, Galactic, DJ Z-Trip, J5, Cut Chemist, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jack Johnson, North Mississippi Allstars, and Blind Boys of Alabama.

"It's been great to see the event grow over the last four years," says Steve Rehage of Rehage Entertainment. "Our goal is to develop one of the world's greatest music festivals, with artists from varying genres coming together in New Orleans to worship the music. We now have attendees from all over the United States; ultimately we're creating a new Halloween tradition."

Truly making the event a complete experience is Voodoo After Dark – a series of shows created in conjunction with the House of Blues that features prominent national and local talent performing in notorious venues throughout New Orleans. A new element for Voodoo worshippers this year is the Road to Voodoo, a coast to coast three-band tour concluding with a final bash in New Orleans on Friday, November 1, 2002.

Voodoo Music Experience is created and produced by Rehage Entertainment, Inc., a New York/New Orleans-based management, marketing and productions company specializing in the creation and development of entertainment properties.

Voodoo Music Experience is sponsored by PlayStation2, Cox Communications, Miller, Nola.com, KKND, Extreme, M@x Racks, Rollingstone.com, Gambit Weekly, Much Music USA, Beatgreets.com, Offbeat, SOBE, Aquafina and Voodoo BBQ.
