Web Sheriff Goes To The Mats Against Russian Clone

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — So, the cold war has returned, only this time cast as a stand-off between the Web Sheriff and an alleged Russian imposter, operating under the imprimatur WebSheriff.ru. According to the Web Sheriff, the Russian site not only copied the Web Sheriff's trademark but appears to offer similar services.

Web Sheriff has retained litigators at Tolpin Law in the US and Young & Wassermann in Russia to pursue legal remedy in the case.

"Even though we have become established as the world's Web Sheriff, ironically we're now fighting the same battle as we fight on behalf of our clients – who said the Cold War was over?! This town ain't big enough for the both of us." Web Sheriff founder John Giacobbi said in a statement.

As previously reported in CelebrityAccess, Web Sheriff specializes in online fraud protection, working with clients such as Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, Prince, Bryan Adams, Van Morrison, Lady Gaga, Adele, Beyonce and many others. The Sheriff is also developing a reputation for recovering fraudulently registered domain names for its showbiz clients.
