JACKSONVILLE, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Organizers have announced the launch of a new music festival, "Welcome To Rockville," set to be held n Downtown Jacksonville at Metropolitan Park on Sunday May 8th 2011.
The three stage event will feature over 20 bands, including Godsmack, Seether, Stone Sour, Theory Of A Deadman, Puddle Of Mudd, Skillet, Halestorm, Rev Theory and My Darkest Days as well as local favorites such as Jacksonville-based Cold.
The event will be produced by Jacksonville native Danny Wimmer (one of the partners in the massively successful Rock On The Range festival), along with Mike Yokan & Jason Lewis at Orange Garden Productions. Monster Energy Drink, Metro PCS and Jägermeister have signed on as sponsors for the fest.
Pre-sale tickets can be had starting on March 1st for $39.50 with prices increasing for the week and then the day of the event.
