CHINA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The William Morris Agency has opened shop in China becoming the first of the Hollywood talent agencies to have an office in Asia. The first client is the Shanghai International Film Festival.
"We're not looking to compete with the advertising agencies," Jim Wiatt, William Morris chief executive, told the Wall Street Journal, noting that big advertising agencies already have offices in China. "We have good relationships with companies on the ground." — Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
