X-Factor Reveals Band Aid 30 Music Video To Fight Ebola


LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Bob Geldof and Midge Ure have announced on November 10th the release of the forthcoming Band Aid 30 single, Do They Know It’s Christmas, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the original Band Aid recording.


The Band Aid 30 "Do They Know It's Christmas" features Disclosure, Jessie Ware, Robert Plant, Bono, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Sam Smith, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Ellie Goulding, Underworld, Sinead O'Connor, Bastille, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Elbow, Rita Ora, Paloma Faith, Clean Bandit, Olly Murs, Seal, Jimmy Napes, Emile Sandé, Anélique Kidjo, Paloma Faith, and Fuse ODG, as well as Geldof's "Do They Know It's Christmas" co-writer Midge Ure. The song was originally released in 1984 and the line-up was almost entirely British and Irish musicians and performers, who helped to raise £8 million for famine-affected Ethiopia. The new release will be in aid of the Ebola crisis and will have its lyrics altered to reflect the 'filthy illness' – Ebola
