XM Satellite Radio, America's leading national satellite radio service, will add three channels (XM Live, CNN and hard alternative rock–Squizz) beginning on December 2, replacing three channels (Babble ON, CNNfn and USA Today).

"We're also pleased to offer an alternative hard rock channel, which many of our listeners have been demanding, and a live performances channel, taking advantage of our world-class performance studio and our collection of rare recordings."
XM Live will feature rare live performances and intimate interviews with favorite artists round-the-clock as well as exclusive live performances recorded at the state-of-the-art XM Live Performance studio. "Never before has there been a 24/7 channel dedicated to the live performances of the most important artists of the past sixty years.'," says XM Satellite Radio.
