VANCOUVER, BC (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -– After making a splash with their viral Youtube hit “What Does the Fox Say?” Norwegian comedy duo, Ylvis have signed on with Steve Macklam and Sam Feldman of Macklam Feldman Management for representation in North America. Macklam Feldman Management will be partnering with Norwegian management company Stageway, who will continue to represent Ylvis.
While only recently coming to widespread public attention in the U.S., Ylvis, AKA Bård Ylvisåker and Vegard Ylvisåker currently host a television show in Norway's TV Norge called “I kveld med Ylvis.” “What Does the Fox Say” was originally created as a promo the premier of the show's third season but has caught on internationally after the video was posted to Youtube, racking up more than 18 million hits since it went live on Sept. 3rd.
Ylvis won't be the first partnership with Stageway for Macklam Feldman Management and the two firms have a long, working relationship, teaming up in the past to work with artists such as Norwegian soprano Sissel, Sondre Lerche and others.
