PHOENIX, AZ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Veteran Arizona Rock promoter Danny Zelisko announced that he has stepped down from his post as Chairman of Live Nation Southwest to launch his own independent promotion company, Danny Zelisko Presents.

"I will be making a proper announcement soon regarding new adventures," Danny Zelisko said. "I want to thank everyone for their patience while I reorganize."

Danny Zelisko began his promoting career as founder and president of Evening Star Productions, in 1974, which focused on markets in the Southwestern USA. Since 2006, Zelisko has also done a popular Sunday night progressive radio show at legendary Phoenix radio station KDKB, called the Regular Guy Radio Program, named after his long running golf tournament, of the same name.

Zelisko's new venture is already hitting the ground running and has already announced its first post-split concert – a March 10 benefit at the Tucson Convention Center for the non-profit Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. The show's lineup includes Jackson Brown, Alice Cooper, David Crosby & Graham Nash, Sam Moore, Nils Lofgren, Keb' Mo', Jerry Riopelle, Dar Williams, Roger Clyne, Jennifer Warnes, Ozomatli, and Calexico.
