ZOMG! Glee! Live! In 3D! Coming To A Big Screen Near You! (Maybe)

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — So..for all the Gleeks out there, you might want to prepare your excited squeals ahead of time because a Glee movie is heading for the theaters this summer. And the icing on the cake? It'll be in 3-D.

Fox promises that the movie will recreate the concert experience for folks who weren't able to make the live shows. All of the show's main cast members, including newcomers Chord Overstreet, Ashley Fink and Darren Criss will sing songs from the show's second season as well as some of season one's hits.

Now that we've piqued your excitement, there are a few cautionary notes that we feel compelled to sound. First off, the movie will only be in theaters for two weeks in August so your window for participating in the Gleesplosion will be limited.

And secondly, the movie isn't really an actual traditional narrative, but, perhaps taking a cue from Justin Bieber, it will be a selection of concert footage from the Glee Live! Concert tour.

The plan worked for the Beebs. His "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" concert film dropped on February 11 and has since racked up an astounding $98 million in box office grosses worldwide with a paltry $13 million in production costs, according to Box Office Mojo. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
