NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) Ken Irwin, one of the three “Rounder Founders,” has been appointed to the newly created position of “Special Projects” Ambassador at digital deliver/distribution company AirPlay Direct.

Irwin, one of the three original founders of Rounder Records alongside Bill Nowlin and Marian Leighton-Levy, was responsible for signing label acts like a very young Alison Krauss, Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, Mark O’Connor, and George Thorogood. Rounder was recently sold to parent company Concord Music Group
