OTTAWA, Ontario (CelebrityAccess) — RBC Bluesfest organizers on Wednesday announced a spate of new additions to the lineup for this year’s festival.
Joining the bill for 2018 are ‘fest favorites’ Blue Rodeo, who are lined up for July 12th, Common Deer (July 8th), Allman Brothers tribute Eat A Peach (July 12), Hunter Siegel and Chuurch, presented by Deadbeats (July 13); and Lilly Hiatt (July 14).
“It’s great to have Blue Rodeo back after a few years’ hiatus from the line-up,” Bluesfest executive and artistic director, Mark Monahan said. “Their live show ranks right up there among the best we’ve staged—it’s a performance I personally look forward to whenever they’re here, and it always seems to get better!”
Bluesfest is also recognizing Canada’s First Nation this year with the addition of an opening ceremony for the festival featuring the Algonquin-Anishinabe Youth Hand Drummers from Kitigan Zibi and Barriere Lake
As per usual, additions to this year’s Bluesfest lineup are expected.
Tickets to the festival are on sale.
