AMSTERDAM, NL (CelebrityAccess) — The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), largest music festivals and businesses conferences aimed at the electronic music world, announced its initial lineup for 2018.
Artists on the bill for 2018 include Martin Garrix, Bonobo, Charlotte de Witte, Colin Benders, GAIA, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Nina Kraviz, Orbital, Peggy Gou, Carl Lekebush and Richie Hawtin.
In all, the festival plans to offer more than 2,500 performances by EDM artists and 550 speakers as the festival takes place at more than 160 venues around the city. As well, this year’s event will feature an expanded offering of pop and hip-hop as well.
“We’re almost at the point of reaching the magical 400,000 visitors mark, and we still see lots of opportunities to grow,” ADE-director Richard Zijlma said in a presser. “ADE aims to be a world stage for musical talent and the music industry. With visitors from more than 100 countries now you can confidently claim that Amsterdam is truly the beating heart of the worldwide music industry during ADE, while being at the same time a breeding ground for cultural and technological innovation for five days and nights.”
The festival’s 2018 event is slated for October 17th through October 21st.
The conference will take place concurrently and speakers announced for this year’s confab include Paul Van Dyke, Dave Clark, Joseph Capriati, Declan Stone, and Alex Boateng among others.
