PHILADELPHIA (CelebrityAccess) SMG has named Kelvin D. Moore the new GM of the 2-million-square-foot Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
Moore most recently served as regional GM for the SMG-managed Festival Hall at Navy Pier in Chicago.
“Kelvin brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on industry experience and we are thrilled to have him on board and overseeing SMG’s operations of our facility,” Attorney Gregory J. Fox, chairman of the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority, told the Philadelphia Tribune. “The Center’s Board of Directors is committed to ensuring that we are constantly working to improve how we operate so that we deliver the best customer experience. Kelvin will help to further that goal.”
SMG has been running the facility, opened in 1993, since 2013.
