(CelebrityAccess) — Singer-songwriter K.Flay announced that she was pulling the plug on her upcoming European tour to focus on her time in the studio.
In a handwritten note posted to her social media, K.Flay, whose real name is Kristine Flaherty, wrote:
“It is both with great disappointment + excitement that we have to cancel the upcoming European headline dates.”
“I’m currently in the thick of making the next record – I’m really excited + the process has been going great but I need time to get it right and I want to make sure it’s right for you.”
Flaherty went on to reassure her fans that she’ll be returning to Europe in 2019 but said that the dates were still being worked out.
She just wrapped a series of North American dates in May, and still has some upcoming shows planned in North America, including a performance at the InCuya Music Festival on Aug. 25th, the Riot Fest in Chicago from Sept. 14-16, Music Midtown in Atlanta from Sept 15-16 and Corona Capital in Mexico City on Nov. 17 & 18.
