LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Demi Lovato has canceled all of the remaining dates on her “Tell Me You Love Me” world tour while she seeks treatment in rehab.
Lovato was scheduled to perform a pair of shows in Mexico in September and six shows in South America in November.
In a statement, the tour’s South American promoter Lotus Productions said:
“Unfortunately, Demi Lovato has canceled her Tell Me You Love Me Tour in South America and is focusing on her recovery. The tour of 6 cities was scheduled to visit Chile, Argentina and Brazil from November 14. The shows of Argentina and Brazil would have Becky G as a special guest.
“Live Nation and Lotus Producciones wish Demi Lovato the best now and in the future and we hope to see her soon in South America.”
Lovato was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on July 24 after she was found unconscious in her home, suffering from an apparent opiate overdose. She has subsequently addressed her problems with addiction and indicated that she would seek treatment for her illness.
On August 5th, she took to Instagram to write a long note to her fans.
