(CelebrityAccess) – PledgeMusic announced this week that co-founder Malcolm Dunbar has been elevated to global president and COO. The news arrives in the wake of a major management shake-up, which most recently saw CEO Dominic Pandiscia exit the company.
Dunbar, who was previously president of Pledge’s UK and European arm, signed a new long-term deal with the company in 2016. Going forward, he will be tasked with building on the company’s success in those markets and optimising “the integration of the company’s global business”.
Other changes include fellow co-founder and former SVP of artist development & customer relations Jayce Varden returning to the company while former global head of talent relations Scott Graves returns as president of North America.
Key members of PledgeMusic’s financial team have also departed, with a new team now in place led by Richard Vinchesi, a partner at one of Pledge’s investors, Sword, Rowe & Company.
Since launching in 2009, PledgeMusic has facilitated over 50,000 projects, with over $100m in artist payments distributed worldwide.
