(CelebrityAccess) – Ticketmaster has announced a new partnership with sports merchandise company Fanatics that will see the two companies selling verified tickets and merchandise on each others’ sites.
The partnership is aimed at helping leagues, teams and universities with integrated e-commerce solutions and designed to leverage both companies’ customer database to drive a unique fan rewards program.
Under the terms of the new deal, Ticketmaster will serve as the exclusive ticketing provider to Fanatics, providing fans with the opportunity to immediately purchase tickets through embedded links on Fanatics.com, FansEdge.com and hundreds of team/league e-stores.
Ticket purchases will also provide Fanatics shoppers with access to a rewards program where points can be exchanged for merchandise.
