DEL MAR, Calif. (CelebrityAccess) Kaaboo festival, which is expected to take place Sept. 13-15 at the Del Mar Fair Grounds in California, has announced its lineup with headliners Dave Matthews Band, Duran Duran, Kings Of Leon and Black Eyed Peas, among others.
This will be the Kings of Leon’s first West Coast performance of the year when it expects to open the festival Sept. 13. DMB will headline the next night, Saturday, and Mumford & Sons will close out the festival Sunday night. Maren Morris, Sheryl Crow, and collaboration of Snoop Dogg and Wu-Tang Clan are also on the lineup (the latter a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the albums Doggystyle and Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).
The winner of this season’s “American Idol” will also perform and the lineup will have comedians Pet Holmes, Wayne Brady, Kevin Smith, and Bob Saget.
“It is thrilling to unveil this all-star lineup for what will essentially become KAABOO’s fifth birthday celebration,” KAABOO partner Jason Felts said in a statement to Billboard. “Our signature curation of music and comedy acts will lead guests through yet another incredible weekend escape in Del Mar.”
